I find these the most environmentally friendly traps and they barely smell.

super worth the price

I have horses And have tried a myriad of fly traps. Despite that we remove poop twice a day, the flies are especially bad this year. People mentioned that the traps are flimsy, I cannot agree. The material serves its purpose.

just I need

Use the stinkiest smelly poo crap you can find. My picture is about 12-18 off ground and only 24 hours. Keep it wet and add a little more stinky every other day.

super helpful

I put three of them over a garbage can where I put my dog's poop and as you can see from the video this was very effective.

working well

I like that they were easy to put together. They didn't come with instructions, but when you look at it in your hands, you realize you don't need instructions. I went out 2 hours later to quite a few flies trapped. They're not as big as I thought they were, but they're plenty big enough and they work.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does this fly trap works?

The flies enter from the bottom to feed on the bait in the bowl. Once inside the trap, the flies are not able to figure out how to get out and thus are stuck. Better yet, this attracts even more flies and as a result your reusable fly trap gets filled to the brim.

Will this attract more flies?

Yes, fly traps really do attract more flies. In fact that is the reason this fly trap is so successful. There are multiple ways that fly traps attract more flies and kill them effectively. The flies tend to fly upwards and to the side of the netting.

Do you supply the bait?

No but this is very easy to make up yourself - Cat food works extremely well due to the smell. Mix scraps of meat (the older, the better) with something sweet. Lots of people swear by using rotten fish or shrimp, which works very well due to the strong smell. A mixture of fruit (the riper, the better), apple cider vinegar, fruit juice, syrup, wine, beer, or any combination works perfectly. If you have animals, their poop is also ideal. There are other expensive options but these shouldn't be required.

How high do you need to place this?

Placing your Fly Trap at the appropriate height is absolutely critical. Keep the fly trap hanging lower for best results. We recommend not placing the trap above 5 ft or hanging it off the ceiling of a high barn, for example, will seriously negate the effectiveness of your trap. We've had customers in the past originally hang their fly trap above our recommended maximum of 5ft with no luck but then found instant success after placing it below our guidelines.

How Long Do They Last?

Depending on the number of flies you have, usually, traps would get full after a few weeks to a couple of months. You can then use the zipper to empty the dead flies, refill the bait bag and get them set up again.
